Lena Patel, MD

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She is a second-generation graduate from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where she earned her medical doctorate. She completed her family medicine residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida with an area of concentration in geriatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She worked in hospice and palliative medicine and wound care since graduation and is excited to bring her experience back into the primary care clinic.
